Jennifer Lopez is back on the scene

Como ama una mujerAfter two and a half years of work, on March 27, 2007, one of Jennifer López’s dreams will come true: she will release “Como ama una mujer,” the sixth album of her career, but the first recorded entirely in Spanish.
The diva of pop is back on the scene Although López has released a few songs in this language in the past, like her first demo called “Vivir sin ti” and the duet she did with Marc Anthony on the hit single “No me ames,” this album, completely in Spanish, is truly a commitment on another level: it’s a gesture of respect to her legions of Spanish-speaking fans and a very brave act that took much dedication, since she grew up speaking English and has learned her parents’ native language bit by bit over the last few years.

“Como ama una mujer” is a magnificent creation that demonstrates the artist’s musical growth and maturity. Deep in the tradition of the purest Latin pop, the album tells, through its lyrics, dramatic tales of love, separation, and the courage needed to regain desire and start again.

This ambitious project has as its producer Marc Anthony, her husband, who is also one of the most coveted singers of the moment. An artist who promises to become the most popular salsa interpreter and a star in the English-speaking pop world. Julio Reyes shares the credit as producer of this album, which is nothing other than the product of collaboration between great composers, arrangers, and musicians from the Latin music scene.

The production’s first single was released in January of this year. It was composed by Julio Reyes and is titled “¿Qué hiciste?” The music video was done by the experienced Michael Haussman, who has directed numerous videos for artists like Madonna, Kanye West, Justin Timberlake, Chris Cornell, Shakira, Britney Spears, Eric Clapton, and B. B. King, among many others.
