Egyptian folk singer Hakim and American singer Jennifer Lopez have reached an agreement to sing a duet. Hakim initially postponed negotiations with Jennifer since she was in the process of moving to a new production company, although Hakim still hopes to include the duet in his upcoming album.According to the UAE based daily, Al Bayan, Hakim has so far recorded seven songs for his upcoming album. He has worked with some of the brightest composers like Egyptian singer Hameed Al Sha'eri, Amal Al Taer, Mohammad Ismat, Issam Tawfiq, Waleed Abdul Atheem and Hamdi Sukar.
Hakim is the first Arab singer to participate in the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize ceremony. The singer is considered to be one of the most popular Arab singers with international recognition.
