Lopez's all-Spanish album nearing completion

MIAMI (Billboard) - Hitmaker Estefano is close to putting the finishing touches on Jennifer Lopez's first all-Spanish album.
"Como Ama Una Mujer," slated for release later this year, features a collection of "big ballads" written and produced by Estefano; he has produced Spanish- and English-language albums for Lopez's husband, Marc Anthony.
"You will be surprised with this woman's album," Estefano says. "You will be surprised to see this singer. These are big songs that require a voice."
Estefano continues to promote his first solo album, "Codigo Personal: A Media Vida," released last year by Universal Music Latino. A second single, "Vuelve Morenita," is now at radio.

Two dresses worn by Jennifer Lopez have sold at auction for a combined $6,900 to raise money for HIV and AIDs charities. A Dolce & Gabbana dress J.Lo wore to the 7th On Sale gala in November was bought for $3,700, while a Versace frock she wore to the 2000 Grammy Awards went for $3,200.

However, it was Jessica Simpson who fetched the most money for one item of clothing. The Donna Karan dress she wore to the VH1 Divas concert in Las Vegas, Nevada, last year sold for $4,400.

Jennifer Lopez Pregnant with Marc Anthony's baby?

Sexy Pop diva Jennifer Lopez has sparked pregnancy rumors for the millionth time. The Jenny from the block singer and her husband Marc Anthony have been doing “tons of shopping” for baby clothes lately reports MSNBC

“He was at Fred Segal [on Melrose Ave. in Los Angeles] last week and bought a Guys Infant Gear diaper bag for $120,” says a source. “He said something that made it pretty clear that it wasn't a gift — that he intended to use it — but I don't want to repeat it or he’ll know who talked to you.”

The source says that the couple has been buying other pricey baby gear as well. Lopez was widely rumored to be pregnant last year, after she was snapped with a few extra pounds shopping for baby clothes

Lopez joins LL Cool J on new track

Jennifer Lopez makes a guest appearance on the first single from LL Cool J's upcoming album.

MTV News reports that Lopez joins the rapper on the song 'Control Myself'; she previously worked with LL Cool J on the track 'All I Have' in 2002.

Speaking about the collaboration, LL Cool J said: "Me and JLo work really well together. People like the last song we did, it was a big song and did really well. But this one is a little more club and a little more cool."

LL Cool J's new album, 'Todd Smith', is released on 21 March.

Hip-Hop 'Reggaeton' Film to be Produced by Jennifer Lopez

All rights to 'Reggaeton,' an original screenplay written by Albert Leon have been acquired by Sony BMG Music Entertainment. Sony BMG plans to produce the project, in conjunction with Jennifer Lopez's Nuyorican Productions, through the recently launched SONY BMG Film.
'Reggaeton,' SONY BMG Film's first feature, will be produced by Jennifer Lopez and Simon Fields for Nuyorican Productions and by Sofia Sondervan on behalf of SONY BMG Film.

The picture will be shot on location in New York and Puerto Rico with production expected to commence in Spring 2006.

'Reggaeton' is the story of Rob, a talented 21-year-old from the South Bronx whose dreams of hip-hop stardom are dashed when a run-in with local thugs makes him flee the city to hide in Puerto Rico with the father he never knew. There he finds love with a street-savvy local girl, CC, and discovers a new genre of music, a mix of hip-hop and reggae. The locals call it Reggaeton. Rob partners with his half brother, a DJ, and together they make groundbreaking strides and are poised to become Reggaeton stars. But, when a corrupt music producer "discovers" Rob and offers him a record deal that brings him and CC back to New York, a new conflict threatens his romance and his budding career.

'Reggaeton' is one of the most original scripts we've come across since we launched this division," said Sofia Sondervan. "We expect it will attract a top-notch director and cast."

Jennifer Lopez Joins 'Bridge And Tunnel'

Jennifer Lopez has signed up for New Line Cinemas romantic comedy Bridge and Tunnel, says Variety.
Lopez will play a stock trader who relies on a suburban teen who day-trades on his home PC.
The project, which is expected to begin production in late spring, will be helmed by Greg Berlanti. Jane Rosenthal and Robert De Niro are producing.
